Welded Silos
One-piece shop-welded silos for fast install
- Shop-welded, one-piece silos eliminate field seams and reduce on-site labor; shipped complete and set quickly.
- Size limits: up to ~15' diameter max (DOT transport limit). At 14–15', special permits are required and freight costs increase sharply.
- Materials & finishes: carbon steel, stainless, or aluminum; industrial coatings tailored to stored media and environment.
- Hoppers & flow: standard hopper slopes (45–70°) with custom designs available for difficult powders.
- Access & safety: OSHA ladders, cages, platforms, handrails; skirted or leg-supported designs; drive-through/loadout options.
- Integration: bin vent filters, level instruments, load cells, slide/knife gates, rotary valves, feeders, and pneumatic/mechanical discharge systems.



Typical uses: plastics/pellets, minerals (lime, fly ash, cement), grains/foods, chemicals, and power-utility reagents (PAC, lime, etc.).
Bolted Silos (AST Storage)
Flat-panel, epoxy-coated dry-bulk silos
- Smooth-wall flat-panel construction for fast, safe erection and minimal laydown area; ideal for expansions and relocations.
- Factory powder-epoxy systems (e.g., DuraCoat/SherCoat) applied and cured in controlled conditions for long service life and low maintenance.
- Dry-bulk focus: sand, cement, fly ash, plastics, woodchips, carbon black, soda ash, urea, activated carbon, lime, silica, alumina, and more.
- Project support: site layout, foundations, conveyors/elevators, drive-through loadout, scales, and controls—packaged with the silo supply.
- Accessories: mass-flow/funnel-flow design, aeration pads, pressure/vacuum relief, guards and platforms, level instrumentation.

Turnkey storage & conveying—designed around your material
- Filling methods: truck/blower fill, railcar unload, plant transfer (pneumatic dilute/dense phase or mechanical).
- Silo filtration: bin vent filters or centralized baghouse with ducting and explosion relief as required.
- Level control: point (capacitance, rotary) and continuous (yo-yo/plumb-bob, radar) with HMI trending and alarms.
- Weighing: silo load cells or integrated loss-in-weight/gain-in-weight feed systems.
- Flow aids: bin activators, air pads/aeration, vibratory dischargers, internal cones for mass-flow.
- Discharge & metering: outlet knife gates, rotary airlocks, screw/vibratory feeders, scale interfacing.
- Conveying to process: pneumatic (blowers, filter receivers, diverters) or mechanical (screw, belt, bucket elevator) with interlocks.

Hydrated Lime — Flue Gas Mitigation
MACT-compliant turnkey system with welded storage, bin vent, loss-in-weight feed to a pressure conveying line, insulated dust collector, dense-phase transfer of spent lime, and a second truck-loadout silo. Two PLC panels provided full control and reporting.
Railcar Unload — Plastics Pellets & Powder
Phase I/II installation with rail spur, blower package, filter receivers, offset rotary valves, diverter valves, and three 1,000-CF silos. Continuous level monitoring (SiloPatrol) with wireless trending and PLC control minimized streamers via air cooler and maintained product quality.
