Pneumatic Line Magnets
Magnetic separation for dilute or dense-phase conveying. Choose Bullet Magnets, EP Tube Magnets, Pneumatic Line Housings, and portable 4JIT line magnets to capture ferrous contaminants and protect downstream equipment.
Available with food-grade construction, sanitary finishes, and multiple cleanout methods, these separators are engineered for powders, flours, resins, grains, and granular products. Configure for your line size, pressure, and cleaning preference.
Bullet® Magnet
Aerodynamic, flow-through design with a stainless nose cone maintains uniform velocity and captures tramp metal anywhere in the line. Door-mounted magnet with optional EZ-Clean stripper collar simplifies cleaning and minimizes pressure drop.
Exposed Pole (EP) Tube Magnet
Open-flow design ideal where product degradation or clogging is a concern. Available with Ceramic (large tramp capture) or Rare Earth (fine metal) circuits. Rare Earth models mount the magnet on a hinged door for fast cleanout with a leak-resistant food-grade seal.
Pneumatic Line Housing (PLH)
High-efficiency housing using 1″ rare-earth tubes on staggered centers so product makes repeated magnetic contact. Offered in SimpleClean™, EZ-Clean, and Self-Clean models with food-grade gaskets and minimal line pressure drop.
4JIT® Line Magnets (Vacuum & Bullet)
Vacuum 4JIT: inline rare-earth cartridge for gaylords and vacuum loaders—clean by splitting the clamp and wiping the tube.
4JIT Bullet: portable, food-grade two-part body with nose cone; cleans by unclamping and wiping (optional EZ-Clean collar) and operates leak-free at typical line pressures.
Compare Pneumatic Line Magnet Options
| Product | Best For | Line Type | Cleanout | Notes |

| EP Tube | Products prone to degradation/clogging | Dense or dilute | Manual (door access) | Ceramic for large tramp; Rare Earth for fines |
| PLH | Highest capture rate of fines/weakly magnetic SS | Dilute phase | SimpleClean • EZ-Clean • Self-Clean | Staggered 1″ rare-earth tubes; food-grade |
| 4JIT (Vacuum) | Gaylord to loader vacuum lines | Vacuum | Split clamp & wipe | 1½″–2½″ line sizes; portable |
| 4JIT Bullet | Portable in-line separation; explosive env. capable | Dilute phase | Split clamp & wipe • EZ-Clean option | Tri-clamp body; stainless; typical line pressures |
Pneumatic Magnet FAQs
Bullet vs. EP Tube — how do I choose?
Use Bullet when you want minimal pressure drop and streamlined flow in dilute phase. Choose EP Tube when an open flow path is critical (dense phase, fibrous or moist products) and you need easy door access for cleaning.
When should I use a Pneumatic Line Housing?
When you need the highest capture efficiency for fines and weakly magnetic stainless. The staggered rare-earth tubes make product contact repeatedly, improving separation performance.
What line sizes can you support?
EP Tube sizes commonly range from 2″–8″; 4JIT Vacuum covers 1½″–2½″; Bullet and PLH are available across typical process sizes with custom transitions/flanges to suit your system.
Do you offer food-grade and sanitary builds?
Yes. We provide stainless construction, food-grade gaskets and finishes, sanitary welds, and lock-out features to support HACCP programs.
Need help selecting the right pneumatic magnet?
Send us your material, line size, phase (dilute/dense), pressure, target contaminants, and cleaning preference. We’ll spec the correct model and transitions.
