Components, replacement parts & process accessories
Industrial Bulk Material Handling Components
Magnetic separators, metal detectors, valves, sensors, flow aids, filtration spares, blowers, ducting, weighing components and more—selected around your material, process conditions and maintenance needs.
Contamination control
Bunting Magnetic Separation Equipment
Remove ferrous and weakly magnetic contamination from gravity-fed powders, pneumatic conveying lines, liquids, slurries and high-volume bulk streams. The correct magnet depends on how the product flows—not simply the highest advertised gauss value.
Match the separator to the application
We evaluate product flow, particle size, bulk density, temperature, moisture, contamination type, sanitation needs and cleaning access before recommending a magnetic circuit and housing design.

Ferrous, non-ferrous & stainless steel
Industrial Metal Detection Systems
Detect metallic contamination that magnetic separators may not capture, then alarm or automatically reject the affected product. Systems are available for free-falling powders, pneumatic lines, conveyors, packaged goods, liquids, pastes and slurries.

Gravity-Fall and Pneumatic Metal Detection
Inspect free-falling or pneumatically conveyed dry bulk products and automatically divert contaminated material through an application-matched reject device.
- Free-fall powders, pellets and ingredients
- Pressure or vacuum conveying lines
- Integrated controls, alarms and reject devices

Conveyor and Tunnel Metal Detection
Inspect open or packaged product on a conveyor with detection, controls and optional rejection configured as one integrated system.
- Final inspection before shipment
- Packaged or unpackaged products
- Conveyor, reject and guarding integration

North Carolina & South Carolina
Local Industrial Component Support Across the Carolinas
A replacement component should solve the real process problem—not simply match the dimensions of the failed part. CMT can visit your facility, review the surrounding equipment and help determine whether the issue is component selection, installation, material behavior, controls or overall system design.
Frequently asked questions
Industrial Components & Replacement Parts FAQs
Can CMT identify a replacement component from a photo or model number?
Often, yes. Send clear photos of the component, nameplate, model and serial number, connection dimensions and the surrounding installation. CMT can help identify a direct replacement or an improved alternative when the original item is obsolete or repeatedly failing.
Can you supply parts for equipment that CMT did not originally provide?
In many cases, yes. We support replacement filters, dust collector parts, valves, sensors, blowers, airlocks, ducting and other components for existing equipment. Availability depends on the manufacturer, model and application.
What is the difference between a magnetic separator and a metal detector?
Magnetic separators attract and retain ferrous or magnetically susceptible contamination. Metal detectors sense ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contamination and can trigger an alarm or automatic reject device. Many processes benefit from using both technologies at different points in the line.
What information is needed to quote replacement filter bags or cartridges?
Helpful information includes collector manufacturer and model, filter quantity and dimensions, top and bottom construction, media if known, operating temperature, dust type, chemistry, moisture, differential pressure and photos. A sample filter can also be reviewed when identification is difficult.
Can CMT provide complete blower packages as well as standalone blowers?
Yes. Through Hardy Pro-Air, CMT can support standalone blowers, pressure and vacuum packages, custom skids, controls, sound enclosures, accessories and repair services for pneumatic conveying and other industrial air applications.
Do you supply Nordfab ducting layouts and individual replacement parts?
Yes. As an authorized Nordfab dealer, CMT can supply individual Quick-Fit duct components, branches, elbows, dampers, transitions, clamps and accessories, as well as help develop a parts list or duct layout for a new or modified dust collection system.
Can components be integrated with my existing feeders, conveyors or controls?
Yes. CMT can review mechanical connections, transitions, supports, actuation, electrical signals, interlocks and process sequence so the new component works with the surrounding equipment rather than becoming an isolated replacement.
Does CMT provide onsite support in North Carolina and South Carolina?
Yes. CMT provides local application support and can visit processing facilities throughout North Carolina and South Carolina to review component problems, operating conditions and installation requirements.
Need a replacement part—or help solving the problem behind it?
Send the material, application, dimensions, photos and any available make or model information. We will help identify, size and quote the right component for your process.
